P2A Travel Writing

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

The standard chunk of Lorem Ipsum used since the 1500s is reproduced below for those interested. Sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 from “de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum” by Cicero are also reproduced in their exact original form, accompanied by English versions from the 1914 translation by H. Rackham.

Scholarship and Support

For P2A ICE CREAM 2021, Universitas Islam Indonesia (UII) awarded a total of USD 2,000 (two thousand US dollars) scholarship for all participants and technical supports provided via mentors. Selections of the participants will be conducted using a merit system based on the profile (Curriculum Vitae/Resume) and portfolio of the participants. In P2A ICE CREAM 2021, UII will select 100 participants from UII, UUM (Universiti Utara Malaysia) as co-host and students from all members of P2A

Assessment

The assessment conducted by mentors and supervisor of this program from Communication Department of Universitas Islam Indonesia ad co host from partners universities.
The aspects of the assessment include: 

  •  Mentoring during project process : 50 %
  •  Supervision : 10 % 
  •  Consultation : 10 % 
  •  Presentation/Exhibition/Product : 30 %

Subject/Converted Course

P2A ICE CREAM will be converted to some courses available in the Communication Department in Universitas Islam Indonesia such as: 

  • Video Production

  • Photography

  • Creative Media Production

  • Fiction Production

Any partner universities can convert the course to their own curriculum and UII will share the assessment result of each student to support the conversion process.
